Division Srengths

The Department of Biological Sciences has three Division Strengths, namely in Sensory Systems, Evolutionary Biology and Ecology, and Molecular and Cellular Biology.

Sensory Systems

A growing strength in the department is in the area of sensory system biology. Faculty interests in this area range from mechanosensory and chemosensory systems in microbes, to taste and auditory physiology.
